Bird in Hand is set to roll out its newly designed packaging in the spring of 2022. As artisan wine producers, we aspire to present our wines with creative freedom and spirit. To successfully advance the promotion around the world of our ageless craft, together with the culture of the regions that have generously afforded us shared custodianship, we respect and thrive on the challenge of continuous evolution.
Embracing the inevitability of change with imagination and excitement, the new labels, including the iconic Bird in Hand Sparkling, will be previewed by artists, creatives, and close friends of the brand at events across the globe.Buy Now
Our Sparkling is light and delicate , salmon pink in colour with floral notes and hints of strawberry and cherry on the nose. Its lively palate evokes flavours of fresh strawberry with a delicate bead, leading to a crisp, clean finish.
Brand Director Mashoom Tait said “The designs have evolved beautifully and will assist us in expressing with polished simplicity the classic elegance of our contemporary wine styles to a highly discerning and rapidly expanding global audience.”
Founder Andrew Nugent said “We are forever grateful to be a part the wonderful Adelaide Hills and South Australian communities. The opportunity to be able to share Australian culture with the world through the art of wine is a delight.”
“My vision for the artwork for Sparkling was a gathering of sparkling birds dressed in all their finery. Their jewelled outfits were borne from collages of vintage estate jewellery and some of my favourite tiaras and ceremonial jewels from royal collections. I saw this as a moment for decadence and to celebrate with eccentricity with joy.”
