The 2006 "Bird in Hand" Shiraz has been aged for over 15 months in tight grained French oak.

It is deep red with purple hues and exhibits appealing aromos of ripe blackberries, fruitcake and cinnamon. The palate is silky, elegant and richly textured. Complex flavours include plum, spice, blackcurrant and cracked black pepper.

A harmonious balance between intensity and finesse, this extremely limited release wine has the elegance and suppleness to drink on release or can be carefully cellared for future enjoyment
