Nest Egg ‘JOY’
Sparkling Pinot Noir 2002
ADELAIDE HILLS
2002 in the Adelaide Hills was characterised by warm autumn days enabling development of flavour and ripeness, along with cool nights which promoted crisp acidity and aromatics.
Hand picked pinot noir from our Woodside vineyard was whole bunch pressed. The juice was then left in contact with the red skins to produce the delicate salmon pink colour.
Developed in a method champenoise style, bottle fermented and aged for a minimum of 3 years on yeast lees, this wine displays complex earthy aromas and flavours.
