ADELAIDE HILLS

The 2007 growing season consisted of spring frosts, dry warm periods and a few rain events culminating in low yields.

The Shiraz grapes ripened slowly and evenly resulting in rich colour, spice filled flavours and great length and intensity.

The wine was pressed off into a mix of French and American oak for an 18 month maturation and it ended up being a vibrant dark red wine with varietal aromas of spice, plum and white pepper. The palate reflects the aromas and is enhanced by fine spicy tannins typical of cool climate Shiraz.

Cellaring for 5-10 years will not disappoint.
